2010 saleen mustang cars photos
Legendary racer and tuner Steve Saleen is celebrating the 45th anniversary of the Ford Mustang with his own special edition, dubbed the 2010 SMS 460 Mustang. SMS Supercars has released the first sketch of the 2010 SMS 460 and SMS 460X Mustangs, hinting at the pony car goodness expected to reach the streets and strips this summer.
“You have to go with the times. While the Mustang remains an icon, Ford has done a very good job with the 2010 model. I wanted to interpret it using my signature to create the latest Steve Saleen version of this American favorite,” said SMS Supercars CEO and President Steve Saleen in a released statement.
Having just previewed the SMS 570 Challenger at the New York auto show, we know Steve’s latest car-enhancing business is setting a high-standard in vehicle execution, and this upcoming Mustang is certain to carry on that tradition.
The exterior is dressed with a distinct front fascia, SMS Red Butterfly air-induction hood, front and side splitters, rear fascia, and a rear diffuser. The real excitement is under that bulging hood, where the base offering is a 4.6-liter V-8 engine with 470 hp and 427 lbs.-ft. of torque. The more powerful SMS 460X Mustang engine with all new internals and headwork delivers 655 hp and 600 lbs.-ft. out of the enlarged 5.0-liter V-8. Both use the new SMS 296 Supercharger unveiled at the New York auto show. Transmission options are a five-speed automatic or five-speed manual on the 460 or a six-speed SMST manual on the top of the line 460X. SMS Performance claims the 460 Mustang accelerates from 0-60 mph in the low 4 seconds, while the 460X manages the same in the lower 4’s.
In addition to prodigious engine output, handling, roadholding, and braking play an equally important role. The 2010 SMS 460 Mustangs feature Steve’s signature Watt’s linkage suspension with all-new geometry. New SMS brakes front and rear deliver impressive stopping power to match the jaw-dropping performance.
More information on these Mustangs will be released later this spring, as Saleen and his team prepare to release their stampede in the summer.

scion tc motocars wallpapers
Introduced by Japanese automaker Toyota in 2004 as a concept car under its recently introduced Scion brand name. The Scion tC is based on the Toyota Avensis platform. The Scion tC is generally considered Toyota's successor to the Celica whose production ended with the 2005 model year. The name tC does not fit in with its stablemates the xA, xB, and xD, because the name xC has already been taken by Volvo for its XC60, XC70 and XC90 models. According to Scion, tC stands for touring coupe.

One of the first magazine articles showed the lightweight 3.0L 270 bhp (200 kW) NSX producing a best 0-60 mp/h time of 5.03 seconds and 13.47 seconds for the quarter mile.[8] Also on a Ferrari 348 to NSX comparison, a 0-60 mph time of 5.2 seconds was recorded for the 1991 NSX.[9]honda sports

Wheels magazine Australia awarded the Honda NSX the 1991 Car of the Year award, and the Acura-badged car was Automobile Magazine's Automobile of the Year that same year.

Despite the original NSX ceasing production in 2005, the marque still has a strong base of fans and supporters worldwide with owners clubs flourishing in Asia, the USA and across Europe.[citation needed] International motoring authors like Andrew Frankel (AutoCar & Motor) Russell Bulgin (Car) Mark Hales (Fast Lane) Gianni Marin (Gente Motore) and Bernd Ostmann (AutoMotor Und Sport) have not only lent their name to the NSX in print but publicly praised the technology and innovation of Honda's NSX and in the BBC book NSX - Hondas Super Sports Car (ISBN 0 9517751 0 3) describe the vehicle as worthy of the title supercar.
Post-1997 3.2 L North American Acura examples are known to achieve a 13.3 second quarter-mile time [10] (1997-2005 model year NSX-T; the 149 lb (68 kg) lighter Zanardi Edition NSX is closer to 13.2 seconds [11]), while the Japanese NSX-R (2002+) is known to perform a 12.8 second quarter-mile time as measured by Japan's "Best Motoring" tv show.[citation needed] This ability is a result of the high redline, flat torque curve, short gear ratios, light weight and mid-engine layout, along with the light power increase.
